April Monthly Favorites

This past month I had been trying to keep my beauty routine at a minimum. Mostly due to time constraints as I’ve been trying to incorporate gym time in the morning, leaving me less time to get glammed and more time spent on drying my hair. The makeup products below are what I have been reaching for the most, as they help keep things simple and quick, but still allow me to look fresh and feminine.  I should probably warn you that I love makeup, so this may seem like a lot of makeup to some, but to me? It’s just the tip of the iceberg.

  • Ulta Beauty Smoothie Body Cream – I bought this early in April and used it all month long. I love the dragonfruit scent and the fact that it’s so moisturizing.
  • Tart Clean Slate Poreless Primer – I thought I’d go thru this guy really quickly, but I’ve used this every day this past month and still have so much product left. Love the way it feels, if you haven’t tried it, give it a go!
  • Original Naked Palette – I use this guy on the daily. Three years and I’m finally in the need of a replacement. The colors are great for every day use. I can create a simple, shimmery daytime look or a smoky eye for date night.
  • Naked Basics Palette – This has been my go-to, especially for the weekday, since the colors are so work-friendly. The brown shadow is so  versatile, I use it line my eyes and to fill in my eyebrows. The compact size is also perfect if I need to take it with me on the go.
  • Too Faced Chocolate Bronzer – This has been my go-to bronzer last month. It just has such a nice natural glow { and lets not forget about the heavenly scent, which at 7am is the perfect wakeup call}.
  • Rimmel Stay Matte Powder – I use the translucent shade to set my foundation and I love the staying power and finish. For $5 you can’t beat the price and quality.
  • Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow – I’ve been loving the shade warm last month. It gives me a nice, natural color on the cheeks that’s not overly pink or shimmery.
  • Loreal True Match Foundation – This is my favorite foundation, so I reach for it constantly. I’ve tried high end and other drug store foundations and I still go back to Loreal.
  • MAC Pro Long wear Concealer – I really reached for this guy during April, sometimes it’s all I used. The coverage can’t be beat and it’s staying power is unbeatable. I’ve tried so many brands of concealer and this guys actually covers those nasty under eye circles.
  • Elf Liquid Eye Liner – For the days I wanted a wing eyeliner, I reached for my ELF eyeliner. So simple to use and for a $1, the quality is great. Highly recommend if you’ve never tried it.
  • Revlon Lash Potion Mascara – I’ve been using this mascara non-stop this past month, especially for added volume.
  • CK ONE Color Mascara – After using the Lash Potion, I went in with my CK mascara for  length and to separate my lashes. It’s wand is perfect for bottom lashes as well. Love this product.

Lipsticks are my favorites! During the month of April I was really reaching for these pretty lip products –

  • Maybeline Coral Crush – Perfect coral lipstick for Spring.
  • Maybeline Vibrant Mandarin – Love this electric orange-red. Perfect for a night out.
  • Revlon Lip Butter in Juicy Papaya – I used the very end of this guy this past month. It has such a great color and it’s just so simple to apply. I’ll be repurchasing for sure.
  • Urban Decay Stardust Lip Gloss – No surprise I used this lip gloss all last month, it’s such a great lip gloss color that goes with any lipstick shade. Unfortunately it was limited edition, so I’m going to savor this guy till the bitter end.
  • Nivea Lip Balm – I go through these lip balms like crazy, they’re just so moisturizing.

What have you been loving this month?!
