In between Christmas and my Birthday (Holla Capricorns!) – I was lucky enough to score some great beauty finds. Below are some of my faves from the past month and why I love them. Let me know what you’ve been loving or recommend!
Loreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation – So happy I finally tried this foundation! Love the formula and overall finish. Looks flawless and natural. Remember to shake well and use your fingers when applying.
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer – This creamy concealer does a great job at concealing and highlighting the under eye area. For under $10 it’s a steal as it’s a dupe for NAR’s pricy concealer.
Too Faced Soleil Matte Bronzer – This guy is always my go-to for bronzing up the face lightly. I’ve been searching for a new one to try, but I always go back to this one, plus the chocolate scent is delicious!
NYX Blotting Powder – I’ve been using this all over face powder as a finishing powder and as a blotting powder. Great formula, non-cakey and great price. I carry it in my to-go makeup bag so it’s always with me.
Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Glee – I love this product, you just need the smallest amount and you get the nicest cheek color, very natural and pretty.
Too Faced Primed Poreless Pure Primer – I’ve had this primer for a while and it’s amazing how long it’s lasted. This oil-free formal is great because I have extremely oily skin and this helps cover up my pores and keeps my makeup in place.
Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette – I love this palette, lots of neutral shades that just look beautiful on the lids. Perfect for every day or a fun night out. There are a couple of disappointing colors that lack pigment (specifically the blue & pink shade) but other than that the rest of the colors are fantastic and worth the money.
Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara– This mascara is an oldie, but a goodie. Does a great job at separating and extending my lashes. Perfect for the bottom lashes as well. The only downfall is it’s almost $10, it’s popularity has made the price go up, but it’s still worth the money.
Loreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara – This is also an oldie, but a goodie. Great volume, super black – but can get a bit goopy, so removing excess before applying is key.
Anastasia Brow Powder Duo – I love this brow powder, it helps shape my brows and is a lot easier to work with than a pencil or pomade. If you hate your brows or their shape, try this out and you’ll be surprised at what a difference great brows make.
Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer – My eyes always feel naked when I don’t line them, but black eye liner feels a little to harsh for the daytime, so I opt to use brown to eye the lines. This pencil is great – inexpensive, doesn’t smudge and it’s the perfect color to outline.
Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner – The 90’s are back in and what’s more 90’s than a lined lip? This pencil is smooth, creamy and inexpensive. The color selection is perfect if you’re looking to create a matte lip. My fave color is East End Snob.
Sephora Cream Lip Stain – I’ve been loving matte lips, but I wasn’t sure about lip stains, well that all changed when a beauty vlogger raved about Sephora’s Lip Stains. I went out and bought Strawberry Kiss and have fallen so in love. The formula is rich, non-drying and stays on all day long! The color is also just beautiful and it gives my lips a fuller-effect.
Too Faced Melted Liquified Lipsticks – This have been all the rage lately and rightfully so. The formula, packaging and colors are wonderful and best of all, they’re long lasting. I have them in the shades: Melted Nude, Melted Peony and Melted Berry.
Elizabeth and James Nirvana White and Black Rollerball Set – I picked up this set in December and haven’t stopped wearing it since. Mixing these two is magic. They go so well together, perfect for a special night out or date. My hubby loves the scent so it’s a win-win.
What have you been loving lately?! I’d love to know.
As always, thanks for reading!
