LA Dates: Disney Concert Hall

Walt Disney Concert Hall

A couple of weeks ago my husband and I went exploring the Disney Concert Hall in Downtown LA. It’s one of the most beautifully designed buildings in LA. While we have yet to go to a live concert there, we did take advantage of their free guided tours.

The guided tours allow you to explore the premises and learn some LA history along the way.The tour groups were small (we had 5 other people in our group) and our guide was informative and super friendly. It made for a perfect little day date in downtown. Best part? It’s one of the few inexpensive dates you can have in LA.

Once the tour was over we ventured to Grand Park, which has had quite a face-lift with all the cute pink chairs, lights and tables. It would have made for a great little place for a picnic, but since we didn’t pack a lunch, we opted to drive over to Fairfax and pick-up some Jon & Vinny takeout on our way home. If you haven’t tried Jon & Vinny’s, add it to the list. But most importantly, if you haven’t explored the Disney Concert Hall, go there first!

Gotta love, a great place that’s instagram-worthy, right?! What fun day-date adventures are you currently loving?
