Local Spotlight: Anaheim Packing District

Ever wanted a place you could just hang out with a cool, relaxed vibe? Enter the Anaheim Packing District. It’s an interesting discovery, so much to see and enjoy. With an open space, eateries on display and ample seating it’s a great place to hang out. A total hipster mecca, really.
What I like about it is it’s open concept and unique food choices. I’d recommend taking a lap around the whole area before you decide what you want try. I loved POPBar – gelato on a stick, I mean could there be anything better? Han’s Homemade Icecream also has a small location here. It’s an OC original, so you can’t go wrong with dessert.

They have inside and outside seating so you can really stick around for a long time just hanging out. I spent the day there and stuffed myself silly. I highly recommend taking a visit. Just be forewarned it gets very crowded and parking can be hard to come by.

Below is a really silly, mini video tour I did with my friend, promise that upcoming videos will be improved – hope you enjoy!

TIP: Arrive early to find a good parking spot. Or park nearby streets. Take a self-walking tour to check out everything they have, you’ll be surprised to find a lot of different doors leading to different rooms to hang out in. They have free live music on the weekends.
